9:00am wake up to the sound of my family laughing downstairs (they were watching Evan Almighty) 12 hours of sleep in a row, bliss
10:00 make waffles and scrambled eggs for breakfast
10:30 Dale starts working on the back splash, the kids and I go down to the basement and play with play do, Amelia really likes it, we made pumpkins, spiders, snakes, a tree and a whale
11:00 Amelia down for a nap
12:00 lunch and get ready for family pictures with Rebecca
1:15 meet Rebecca at Boulevard, try to get pictures, Amelia was strong willed and Aiden was constantly distracted (sorry Rebecca)
2:30 get a snack at Woods coffee and play at the playground, run into a preschool friend of Aiden's
3:30 home, time to start putting the back splash together, we are using leftover slate from three different projects, slowly coming together, Aiden has a neighbor over to play
5:30 Chinese take out for dinner, the kitchen is a disaster
7:30 kids to bed and then I remember AIden has a sliver from the pumpkin patch that I haven't been able to get out, get him out of bed and have Dale do it, terrible ordeal, snuggle with Aiden for a few minutes, tell him the lion and the mouse story and back to bed
