A momentary lapse of reason resulted in me buying Aiden a recorder a few weeks ago. He hadn't even asked for it but I saw it and bought it. Within seconds of giving him his new toy I realized what a mistake I had made. I can't stand the sound a recorder so it has become an outside toy. Our poor neighbors now have the pleasure of listening to Aiden blowing on his recorder in the backyard! Aiden and Amelia start music classes in a few weeks so maybe there's hope for the recorder.
