Whistler Day 1

Friday morning we all headed to the pool to watch Aiden's last swim lesson. Afterwards, we went to IHOP for breakfast before hitting the road to Whistler. With our bellies full of pancakes we made the 3 hour trip without major incident. Minor incident would be Amelia throwing up strawberry pancakes an hour before we reached our destination. I think it was a combination of the windy road and watching movies the whole time. Our place was great and the kids loved the pool. We were right in the village and after a quick dip in the pool and dinner we explored the village. Aiden loved climbing on all the rocks and I did a little shopping. That night the kids slept in bunk beds for the first time. Aiden did really well on top and Amelia loved the idea of a big girl bed (she still sleeps in a crib). It went really well until midnight and then everyone was awake half the night and then playpen was unpacked. Amelia likes her tight sleeping quarters.

Kai likes his "open sleeping quarters" and refuses to sleep in a playpen currently(although he doesn't mind his crib). Hawaii will be interesting...
